We developed this new functionality in hope of bringing a relevant answer to conversion problematics that can be encountered, without losing the user experience. We would like you to respect the initial idea of this functionality (ask for consent at the right moment) and that you don't use it as a consent wall that blocks the user right when he arrives on your website.

Any abusive use of this functionality would infringe our terms of service and could lead to its deactivation on your admin.

We are pleased to announce that the new "Consent Wall" functionality is now available on your admin interface.

To activate it, you'll have to go to the "Project details" screen in your project.

Once you're on this screen, scroll and check the Special Screen functionality

With the option checked, a new section will appear in the cookie configuration form

You can create various multiple consent wall screens, that will allow you to dissociate the consent to analytics or affiliation based on the user context. To display the consent wall, you can use the Axeptio admin interface and check one or several of the options below :

You can also open the screen with our Javascript API from our SDK :

axeptioSDK.openCookiesSpecialStep("consent_wall_analytics")

This function takes as argument the screen name you want to display. Il you don't put any argument, it will open the first special screen in your configuration.

An opportunity to preserve your audience measurement

Like a real shop, many of you use Google Analytics to track traffic on your website. Unfortunately, this solution does not (yet) benefit from a consent exemption. With the contextual wall, reassure your visitors by explaining that this tool is important both to evaluate the work you do and to motivate your team.

Affiliation is a very efficient way to develop. Your partners make you benefit from their visibility to bring traffic to your website. In exchange, the user usually receives a discount. And your partner gets a commission for that. Unfortunately, nothing is possible if your cookie is not accepted.
